Candle Care

To get the best results out of your DG Luxuries candle, we encourage our customers to always follow our safety and burning instructions found at the bottom of their candle jar or refer to our website's candle care. 

• Always burn candle long enough for wax pool to reach the glass edge, to avoid tunnelling.
• Trim wick to 3-5mm each time you light your candle to reduce flame size and soot. Keep wax free of all loose wick trimmings.
• NEVER leave burning candle unattended and always keep out of reach of children.
• Place your lit candle away from drafts, windows, doors or fans, to avoid a dancing flame.
• Please make your own reasonable judgement on the distance of your lit candle to its placement on surfaces close to mirrors, stoves, curtains, plants and any other items or surfaces, to avoid catching alight.  
• Caution glass will be HOT when lit. Please extinguish your candle and allow the jar to cool down prior to moving it.
